Description
Drives tend to fail without warning. By the time the system stutters and files refuse to open, the data is usually already at risk. CrystalDiskInfo puts the drive's check-up report in front of you before that point.
Open it and every drive shows its health status and current temperature. A colour and percentage at the top mark it as Good, Caution or Bad, and below sits the full S.M.A.R.T. attribute table: power-on count, power-on hours, total host reads and writes all in plain view. Hard disks, SATA SSDs and NVMe SSDs are all supported, and a machine with several drives is still one window.
Health assessment: an overall verdict as a colour and percentage, so you can tell at a glance whether the drive is still safe to rely on.
S.M.A.R.T. attributes: the full list of raw attributes, including reallocated sectors, power-on hours and unsafe shutdown counts.
Temperature monitoring: live readings for each drive, so cooling problems show up early.
Read and write totals: host reads and writes on SSDs, useful for estimating how much of the drive's life is used up.
Many interfaces: SATA, NVMe and some USB external drives, with a multi-language interface.
