Description
Creating a table, tweaking permissions or just browsing rows in the stock SQL Server tools means digging through layers of dialogs. SQL Manager Lite puts it in one window: an object tree on the left, and data, fields, indexes and dependencies on the right, all editable in place.
The free Lite edition keeps what developers use every day: visual database and table design, SQL scripts, saved favourite queries, and a drag-and-drop query builder so multi-table joins do not have to be typed by hand.
Database explorer: create, rename and duplicate objects from the tree, grant permissions on the selected one, and work with several objects at once or search for them.
SQL editor: code completion, whole-script execution, and a favourites list for statements you reuse.
Visual query builder: drop tables on a canvas, connect them, add criteria and let it write the query.
Registration wizard: guides you through creating and registering a database connection, with registration properties and server options editable later.
