Description
A C++ program that needs MySQL should not have to wrestle with the raw C API. The official C++ connector gives you an object-oriented interface instead.
MySQL Connector/C++ ships X DevAPI, XAPI and a JDBC 4.0 style API, so you can pick whichever fits your project. It includes a Visual Studio implementation and comes as both MSI and ZIP packages on Windows.
Three APIs: X DevAPI for new projects, XAPI that also works from plain C, and a JDBC-style API for Java veterans.
Object-oriented wrappers: connections, statements and result sets are C++ objects with no raw handles to manage.
Windows packages: MSI installer and ZIP archive that work directly with Visual Studio.
Examples included: source distributions and online docs include complete connect and query samples.
