Description
One guitar or one vocal track sounds thin, and you want it thick like several people playing together, without paying for a chorus unit. Blue Cat’s Chorus is free and covers everything from a light ensemble to deep pitch modulation.
The chorus effect was originally designed to simulate several players on the same notes with a small delay between them, and that is one of the things you get here. But you can also warp the sound drastically, with deep pitch wobble or crazy bubbling effects. On the stereo version the Spread control gives you the famous stereo widening and head-spinning chorus in a few clicks. Formats include VST, VST3, AAX and DX.
Ensemble sound: Delay, depth and rate go from barely there to thick and lush.
Deep modulation: Push the controls far enough and you get heavy pitch wobble and bubbling effects.
Spread widening: On the stereo version one control fills the stereo field.
Multiple plug-in formats: VST, VST3, AAX and DX, in 32-bit and 64-bit builds.
Free: Listed as freeware on the official site.
