Description
With a normal EQ you turn several knobs to land on a curve, then go back and fix the others when you move one center frequency. Blue Cat’s Triple EQ links its three filters so they behave like one: drag once and the whole curve reshapes.
It is a free 3-band semi-parametric equalizer with a low shelf, a high shelf and a boost/cut peak filter. Each band covers ±40 dB of gain and 0.01 to 5 octaves of bandwidth, enough for almost any filter shape. The three filters are tied together, so changing the center frequency or the bandwidth changes all three, and one mouse click sets the character of the whole EQ. A graph draws the computed frequency response as you work. Formats include VST, VST3 and AAX.
Three linked filters: Low shelf, high shelf and a peak filter that move together like a single filter.
Wide gain and bandwidth range: ±40 dB per band and 0.01 to 5 octaves.
Frequency response graph: The computed response is drawn live, so you see what you hear.
Multiple plug-in formats: VST, VST3 and AAX, in 32-bit and 64-bit builds.
Free: Listed as freeware on the official site.
