GS-Playground

GS-Playground

High-throughput photorealistic robot simulator

Description

Vision-trained robot policies fail on hardware when sim looks fake, while photoreal rendering is too slow for large-scale training. GS-Playground is a high-throughput photorealistic simulator coupling a parallel physics engine with batched 3D Gaussian Splatting.

It enables large-scale visual RL and narrows the sim-to-real gap; RSS 2026, with Chinese docs.

Features

Photoreal:Gaussian splats.

Throughput:Batched.

Visual RL:At scale.

Sim-to-real:Smaller gap.
