Fotosizer

Fotosizer

Batch photo resizer

Description

You export dozens of photos from the camera, each a few megabytes, and now to email or upload them every one has to be opened and resized. Doing it once in an editor is fine, but fifty times makes you want to quit. Fotosizer turns it into one operation: drop in the whole batch, set the size once and press Start.

The window has two halves. The left lists the images with path, resolution, file size and the expected size after resize, and the right is a step by step settings panel for resize method, effects, rotation, miscellaneous options and destination. Resize methods include Fit, Stretch, Side, Pad and Crop, and sizes can be exact width and height or a percentage of the original, so 50% turns 1920x1200 into 960x600.

Features

Batch processing: add a whole folder or many images at once and resize them together instead of opening each one

Five resize methods: Fit, Stretch, Side, Pad and Crop, chosen to suit the purpose

Flexible sizes: enter custom width and height or a percentage of the original, or pick a preset size

Keeps proportions: options to maintain aspect ratio and not enlarge smaller images stop pictures from being distorted

Preview before running: the list shows the post resize size of each picture, so you know the result before starting

Effects and rotation: add effects, rotate and make minor edits in the same run without switching to another program
