Description
You remember writing a sentence in some document, but not which one. Windows Search is close to useless against a pile of docx, xlsx and pdf files, and a command-line grep cannot read those binary formats at all.
dnGrep is built for that. It reads the text inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and OpenOffice documents, and searches files inside zip, 7z and rar archives too. Match with plain text, regular expressions, XPath or fuzzy comparison; results group by file with matching context in the pane beside them. Text files can be replaced in place with undo, while binary formats stay read-only so nothing gets corrupted. It also adds a right-click entry in File Explorer.
