Description
Replying on a phone is fine until you need to type something long, send a file, or keep chatting while you work, and then tapping a small screen gets old fast. WhatsApp for PC is made for that moment: scan a QR code on your computer and your chats, groups and contacts show up right away, ready to answer with a real keyboard.
The interface is nearly the same as the phone app, with familiar backgrounds and fonts, so there is nothing new to learn. If you would rather skip the QR code you can link with your phone number instead, but WhatsApp must already be installed and signed in on your phone, because the desktop app attaches to that account.
QR code linking: Scan the code on your computer with your phone to connect, or choose to link with your phone number.
Message sync: Chat history, groups and contacts appear on the PC and you can pick up any conversation.
Voice and video calls: Start calls from the computer without propping your phone up.
Files and media: Drag photos, videos and documents from your computer straight into a chat.
