Description
Helping a coworker with their machine, or posting specs for a used-PC listing, usually means digging through Device Manager, System Information and the Control Panel one by one. Free PC Audit puts it all in one window. It opens on a one-page health sheet: host name, local and external IP, CPU, OS version, video adapter, RAM, monitor, and every drive's free space drawn as a bar.
Three tabs go deeper when you need them. System lists the motherboard, chassis, processor, physical memory, printers, multimedia devices and network adapters, each with a short description. Software is the full list of installed programs with version, publisher, install date and size. Processes shows what is running right now. For an asset inventory or a note of your config before a reinstall, one run is enough.
Brief overview: The first tab sums up host name, local and external IP, CPU, OS, video, RAM, monitor and disk space.
System details: Motherboard, chassis, processor, memory, printers, multimedia and network adapters by category, plus the Windows product ID and key.
Installed software: Every installed program with version, publisher, install date and size, so you can reinstall from the list without missing anything.
Process list: A separate tab for the processes currently running.
Free to use: Free for personal use, with a plain interface that simply lays the information out.
