Description
Checking how much RAM is left or whether something is pinning the CPU usually means opening Task Manager and clicking around. Desktop Info prints those numbers straight onto your wallpaper instead, so the machine's current state is visible without opening a single window.
It works the moment you run it, with no setup. Out of the box it lists memory, CPU load and free space on every partition. To change what is shown, the font size or where the panel sits, you edit a plain .info text file next to the program, and the change applies right away.
Live status: memory use, CPU load and free disk space refresh continuously on the desktop.
Export: save what is on screen as TXT, RTF, HTML or XML to keep a record or compare before and after.
Text-file config: fonts, sizes, per-section formatting and window placement are all set in the config file, and the download ships with several sample configs you can copy and tweak.
Free and portable: unzip and run, with both 32-bit and 64-bit builds plus an older version for legacy Windows.
