Description
You own Switch games and want them on an iPhone or Mac, and the usual answer is an emulator that stutters or buries you in command lines. NX2Apple works differently: it is not an emulator. The game's own code runs natively on Apple silicon with Metal drawing the graphics, and a Mac app does the whole build in a few clicks, no terminal.
It is a community fork of nxnative with a launcher that keeps your built games in a library you start with Play, much like a Switch home screen. You bring your own game files and your own prod.keys; the software ships and downloads no games.
One-click GUI build: Pick the game folder, choose this Mac or iPhone/iPad and build; the page shows real stages and time left, and a stopped build resumes
Native execution: Not an emulator: game code runs natively on Apple silicon, shaders are translated and rendered with Metal
Game library: Built games sit in a library with key art and start with one tap; on iPhone a single shell app holds all games, with a one-column portrait view and a Cover Flow in landscape
Save sync: Mac and iPhone saves sync through one iCloud Drive folder
Guided first run: Checks Xcode, keys and game files, installs what it can with one click, and carries its own build tools and Python
Console mode: Plug in a controller and navigate like a console
Requirements: An Apple silicon Mac, macOS 13 or later for the launcher, Xcode for building; iOS or iPadOS 26 or later for iPhone or iPad
