Description
A bench oscilloscope is big, expensive and has a tiny screen, and getting a captured waveform out for later analysis is a chore. PicoScope moves the job to your PC: paired with a Pico USB scope, your whole monitor becomes the scope screen, and waveforms can be zoomed, saved and revisited.
It goes beyond drawing traces. Serial buses such as I2C, SPI, CAN and UART decode into a data table, spectrum view is one click away, and math channels and mask limit testing make it easy to check on a production line whether a signal stays within bounds. It also opens without hardware, with a demo mode for learning the controls.
Serial decoding: turns bus signals into readable frames shown under the waveform, so you can cross-check communication problems
Spectrum analysis: switch between time and frequency domain to track down noise and harmonics
Math channels and mask testing: combine channels with arithmetic and use masks to judge whether a waveform passes
Deep memory and playback: large capture buffer lets you zoom into detail and scroll through earlier waveforms, then save or export the data
