Description
Beginners usually get stuck on logic: the idea is clear in your head, but once you start typing code it turns into loops inside conditions inside loops you can no longer follow. devFlowcharter lets you draw the flowchart first and generate the source code with one click, so the thinking comes first and the code is a by-product.
You draw with the blocks you already know from programs, such as loops, conditions and assignments, and everything is stored as structured data, which is why it can be translated into different languages. It ships without a compiler, so you build and run the generated code with the usual tools for that language.
Visual flowchart editing: Drop in loops, conditions and assignments and build the program logic step by step.
One-click code generation: Outputs source code in Python, Java, Pascal, TIBASIC and C.
XML language definitions: Languages are not hard-coded; XML files decide how diagrams translate, so a new language means adding or editing one file.
Bundled examples: Includes samples such as bubble sort and Gauss elimination to open and learn from.
Portable and open source: Download, unzip and run with no installer, released under the GPL.
