Description
You click uninstall in Control Panel and the disk space does not come back, the registry still holds a pile of leftovers, and the next install of the same program trips over its old settings. Revo Uninstaller exists for exactly this: it runs the program's own uninstaller first, then scans for the files and registry entries left behind and removes them too.
On launch it lists every program installed on the machine, and you pick one and uninstall. The free edition has no batch removal, but the most fun feature stays: Hunter Mode lets you drag a crosshair onto any window or icon and it offers to uninstall that program right away, no need to hunt for its name.
Uninstall plus leftover scan: Calls the original uninstaller, then scans files and the registry for remnants you can delete in one click.
Hunter Mode: Drag the crosshair onto a program window or icon on screen to jump straight to the matching installed program.
Windows Apps: Store-installed apps appear in the list and can be removed the same way.
Tools menu: A set of small utilities for clearing junk files, browser and Office traces and similar data.
Flexible list views: Sort and search by name, size, version or bitness to find what is eating disk space.
64-bit and 32-bit info: Each entry shows its bitness, company and website so you know what you are removing.
