AVG Clear

You click Uninstall on AVG, the progress bar finishes, and after a reboot the service is still there, the driver is still there, boot is still slow, and the next antivirus you install refuses to start because of a conflict. Antivirus hooks deep, and the regular uninstaller cannot pull it all out. AVG Clear is AVG's own dedicated removal tool: it skips the normal uninstall flow and deletes the files, registry keys, services and drivers in one pass.

It is a single executable with no installation. On launch it asks whether to reboot into Safe Mode, where AVG's self protection cannot block it and the cleanup is most thorough; running it in normal mode also works. Pick the install folder and edition, leave the defaults if unsure, press Uninstall and reboot when it finishes.
