You are about to reformat, and then it hits you: where is the network driver, which model is the sound card, and which forum did that capture card driver come from? After the reinstall Device Manager shows a column of yellow marks — on a machine that now cannot get online to fetch drivers. Driver Magician Lite fixes the ordering problem: pull the drivers out of the current install and save them to a folder before you wipe it, then point Device Manager at that folder afterwards.
Its smartest touch is telling you what actually needs saving: drivers that ship with Windows are listed in black, vendor-supplied ones in red.
