Description
The C drive is almost full and nothing you clean frees any space. The culprit is often the Windows driver store, which keeps every old graphics and network driver package you ever upgraded past, each one hundreds of megabytes. Device Manager only lets you uninstall the current driver, and never touches the old copies in the store.
DriverStore Explorer (Rapr) lays the whole store out: INF name, device class, provider and version for each package, grouped by class. One click on Select Old Drivers ticks every package that a newer version has superseded, one more click deletes them, and the status bar tells you how many you selected and how much space they take.
Full driver store listing: class, provider, version and INF name for every package, grouped by device class.
Select Old Drivers: automatically ticks packages replaced by newer versions, with select all, invert and deselect options too.
Batch and forced deletion: delete normally, or tick force deletion for stubborn leftovers that Device Manager cannot remove.
Export drivers: save selected packages to a folder so they can be re-imported after a reinstall or on a new machine.
Add and install drivers: add a driver to the store from an INF file and install it if you want.
Right-click shortcuts: open device properties or jump to the driver's folder.
No installation needed: unzip and run. Free and open source.
