Argente Registry Cleaner

Argente Registry Cleaner

Section-by-section registry cleaner

Description

An app was uninstalled six months ago and its entry still sits in the right-click menu; double-clicking a file type still points at a program path that no longer exists. That is registry residue nobody cleaned up. There is no shortage of registry cleaners — the problem is that most give you one "fix everything" button and never say what they removed. Argente Registry Cleaner lays the results out instead: findings are grouped by registry section with a checkbox on every group and every entry, and anything you are unsure about opens straight in RegEdit for inspection.

Two scan modes are available: the default sweeps every area, while a user-defined mode lets you pick which sections to examine — application paths, class identifiers, file extensions, installation records and so on. A backup is taken before anything is changed, and the built-in Restore Center rolls a cleanup back whenever you want.

Features

Results by section: findings sort into Application paths, Class identifiers, Class types, File extensions, Installations and more, each showing its item count with per-entry selection.

Two scan modes: scan every area by default, or define a custom subset of sections to save time when chasing a specific problem.

Automatic backup: a restore point is written before each operation, and the built-in Restore Center reverses any cleanup in full.

Exclusion list: false positives go on an exclusion list and stop appearing in later scans, so you judge each one only once.

Open in RegEdit: any result jumps straight to its key in RegEdit, letting you confirm before deciding.

Statistics: the main window reports cumulative entries cleaned and the time of the last scan.

Automatic maintenance: scheduled scans and update checks can run on their own.
