Opening a log file waits on plugin loading, pretty-printing JSON needs an extension, diffing two configs means launching yet another app. The desktop fills with editors while the actual work stays at Notepad level. Text Editor Pro folds all of it into one program: syntax highlighting, multi-caret and synchronised editing, JSON / XML / SQL formatting, text compare, a character map, unit conversion — present on install, no plugin hunting.
