Description
Editing RAW photos you want real film character, but filters fall short and you don't want to give up RAW latitude. LightTable takes another route: a high-performance RAW digital darkroom with physical film simulation, a Rust and GPU-driven render core processes RAW, and film simulation built on real emulsion physics produces tones and grain like actual film rather than a simple color preset. The photograph stays the star while library, film controls and editor share one quiet workspace. Free, open source, a native macOS app.
RAW editing: Natively browse and edit RAW photos with fast, smooth GPU-accelerated rendering.
Physical film simulation: Simulate film stocks from real emulsion physics, with color and grain close to real film.
Non-destructive editing: Catalog originals in place, keep edits separate, and organize with ratings, flags, collections and virtual copies.
Open and free: Built with a Rust render core, open source and completely free.
