hooktop

hooktop

See what Claude Code is really doing

Description

When Claude Code runs it reads files, greps, edits, runs tests and sends off subagents, often faster than you can follow, and you rarely know what a turn cost. hooktop shows all of it live in your terminal: every tool call, every subagent, plus the matching CPU, memory and token cost.

It is one small Rust binary. Run hooktop hooks install to attach to Claude Code's hooks; events go into a local SQLite file and nothing leaves your machine. Try hooktop --demo to look around first.
