Description
YouTube Music in a browser tab gets buried under everything else and eats memory. Limusic is a native desktop client built with Rust and Tauri, with no Electron: it talks to YouTube's API directly, plays through libmpv and keeps ads out of the audio.
It rebuilds the playback engine behind the Android app Metrolist for the desktop, and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.
Native and light: No bundled browser and no backend server.
Lyrics and video: Browse albums and playlists, read lyrics and watch videos.
Integrations: Last.fm scrobbling and Discord rich presence are supported.
Community translations: Interface translations are maintained on Weblate.
