Description
Old desktop widgets and Flash-era games often refuse to start for one reason: the Adobe AIR runtime is missing. AIR packages programs written in HTML, Flash, ActionScript and JavaScript into a single installer that runs on Windows, macOS and other platforms.
The runtime is now maintained by a Wipro team under Harman, and its official page links the Windows and macOS runtime downloads directly with checksums. The current release is 51.4.1.2, with a version 33 build for 32-bit systems.
Package once, run anywhere:one codebase becomes an installer for several systems.
Local storage:apps can read and write local files, unlike browser apps.
GPU rendering:graphics can use the graphics card for smoother UI.
One shared install:install the runtime once and every AIR app can use it.
