three-gpu-pathtracer

GPU path tracer for three.js

Description

Three.js's default rasterizer fakes reflections and global lighting with baked maps and approximations; for real light you export to another renderer. three-gpu-pathtracer path traces on the GPU in the browser and converges as samples accumulate, working directly on an existing three.js scene with physical lighting, refraction and depth of field. MIT licensed, and you can drop a glTF onto the demo page.

Features

Path tracing: accumulates samples frame by frame in WebGL until the noise clears.

Denoise and upscale: optional denoising and upscaling for faster usable images.

Materials and lights: physical materials, environment lighting, area lights and depth of field.

Reuses your scene: built on three-mesh-bvh, no need to rebuild the three.js scene.
