LightPost

LightPost

Self hosted multi platform social poster

Description

Posting the same update to Bluesky, Mastodon, X, Telegram and Discord by hand means copy and paste five times, and remembering which one caps images at four. LightPost folds that into one dashboard on your own server: write once, tick the accounts, then publish now or schedule it, with each account's result tracked on its own.

It is a single Python process with a SQLite file and plain HTML on the front, no external database and no AI dependency. Credentials are encrypted on your machine, and you can connect several accounts on the same platform and post to them together.

Features

Multi-account publishing: Bluesky, Mastodon, X, Instagram, Threads, Discord, LinkedIn, Telegram, Facebook Pages and YouTube, with several accounts per platform.

Drafts and scheduling: save, duplicate and edit drafts or schedule for later; overdue posts resume after a restart.

Per-account content: choose text, images or both for every destination, with platform limits shown in the composer.

Retry only what failed: see each account's result and the link to the published post, retry the failures and leave the successes alone.

YouTube videos: upload one MP4 with visibility and audience options; resumable uploads survive restarts.

Built in setup guides: eligibility, credentials, permissions and troubleshooting for every platform.

Your data, your server: optional password, light and dark themes, and post history export.
