ClipX

Lightweight Clipboard History Manager

Description

The Windows clipboard holds a single item, so the moment you copy something new the previous text is gone, and you end up hopping between windows to copy things again. ClipX keeps what you copied as an ordered history. One click on the tray icon shows the latest entries, and clicking one puts it back on the clipboard.

It is a small tray-resident tool. You choose how many entries it remembers and can search them, so a sentence copied hours ago is a keyword away. Images go into the history as well, as the screenshots show, and entries can be edited or deleted.

Features

Clipboard history: Records what you copy in order; click the tray icon to see the latest entries and click one to copy it again.

Search and manage: Search the saved entries, and edit or delete them.

Adjustable history size: Set how many entries to remember and how the pop-up behaves in the configuration screen.

Save and load history: Save the history from the menu and load it later, or clear everything or just the bitmap entries.

Text and images: Text, links and pictures all go into the history, with previews in the pop-up menu.
