LightZone

LightZone

Non-destructive RAW photo editor

Description

You edit a photo in a dozen steps, then find step two went too far, and a layer-based editor only lets you undo your way back.

LightZone skips layers and gives you a stack of adjustable tools. Each one can be reordered, retuned, switched off or removed, even in a later session, and the original is never touched. It works in a 16-bit linear space with the wide ProPhoto RGB gamut.

Features

RAW support: reads RAW files from many cameras and shows exposure, ISO and flash metadata.

Tool stack: relight, sharpen, gaussian blur, hue and saturation, color and white balance, black and white, noise reduction, clone, spot and red eye, plus a RAW tone curve.

Style filters: presets such as Alien Infrared, Skin Glow and Polarizer.

Batch processing: copy a tool stack to a whole set of photos, and rate images from one to five stars.

Editing modes: crop, rotation and region selection.
