RDCMan

RDCMan

Multi remote desktop manager

Description

With a pile of servers, the built-in Remote Desktop client gets painful fast: one window per machine, constant switching, and credentials typed over and over. RDCMan puts them all in a single window with a grouped tree, so you click a machine and connect, with no hunting through a screen full of windows.

Credentials can be set on a group and every server inside inherits them, so changing a password means editing one place. A whole group connects or disconnects in one click, and thumbnail view lets you scan every machine screen at once, handy for routine checks. The list is stored in a .rdg file you can import on another PC.

Features

Group management: build a nested tree by data center, project or environment instead of memorizing hostnames

Credential inheritance: set a user name and password on a parent group and everything under it reuses them, with per-server overrides when needed

Bulk connect: connect or disconnect an entire group at once, with a thumbnail view showing several screens together

Config files: the server list is saved as .rdg, which you can back up, share or edit by hand
