Description
Got two cameras and want to watch both at once? The built-in camera app opens one at a time, and switching back and forth means missing things. CamView puts both feeds side by side in one window with independent settings.
It uses DirectShow, so USB, PCIe and FireWire cameras show up as soon as they are plugged in. Each feed can switch between thresholded, raw gray and raw color views, handy for simple image inspection.
Side-by-side feeds:Two cameras shown together in a resizable window, even with different models and resolutions.
Per-camera settings:Pick video mode, frame rate and brightness threshold for each feed, and open the camera's own property page for brightness, contrast and white balance.
Three display modes:Switch between thresholded, raw gray and raw color to compare how the image looks.
Pause and save a frame:Freeze the picture at any time and save the last frame as a JPEG.
