Any program that can print can make a PDF. Hit Print, pick doPDF, choose where to save, and a few seconds later the file exists.
You do not even have to open its main window, which is the real time saver. DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PUBX, HTML, TXT, whatever the source program can print works. With Microsoft 365 installed, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others also gain a doPDF menu that carries links, bookmarks and styles over along with Save as PDF. When you would rather pick files yourself, there is a conversion wizard in the Start menu.
