You close the browser, but the cache, cookies and history stay on disk, and temp files can quietly eat a few gigabytes a month, which hurts most on a small SSD. Hunting through folders by hand is tedious and you always miss something. Wipe does one job: sweep away the traces that browsing and everyday use leave behind, in one go.
The interface is a single big number, the amount of junk it can clear right now, with a Delete button next to it. If you want to pick what goes, open the Advanced screen; to leave certain locations alone, switch them off in Settings. Tick Shut down computer and it powers off when the cleanup is done.
This is the portable build of Wipe Pro. It runs straight after unpacking, installs nothing into the system, and works from a USB stick on any machine.
