Description
Notation software either only writes the score and stays silent, or it is a full studio with an interface that scares you off. Sofeh Music Studio joins the two: in one window you can edit sheet music and also lay out tracks with instruments loaded, hearing the result while you write.
The look is a hardware-console one, with mixer faders, an on-screen keyboard and a sound list all on the surface rather than buried in menus. The installer is over 400 MB because it bundles a large set of sounds; a portable build is also offered.
Score editing: create, edit and manage music sheets with the symbols notation needs.
Multitrack timeline: piano-roll, rhythm and audio waveforms share one timeline, so audio tracks sit right next to the score.
On-screen keyboard and mixer: a multi-touch virtual keyboard and drag-able faders and knobs.
Sound library: built-in sounds plus support for third-party instruments, picked by category from the tree on the left.
