TabLordMaster

You have a guitar tab you want to read, tweak or write yourself on the computer, but the options are bloated notation suites or plain text. TabLordMaster is a tablature tool for guitarists and bassists that reads, edits and creates tab files, and it runs straight from an archive that weighs under 150 KB.

What makes it unusual is that it lives in a command-line window yet lets you work with the mouse like a GUI app, clicking menus and controls without typing commands. String configurations are broad: guitar, bass, 5-string, 7-string and 7-string plus bass, and they can be mixed inside one tab. Input works from the keyboard or the mouse, even one-handed.

Features

Read, edit and create tabs: Open existing TAB files to view and change them, or start from a blank page.

Many string configurations: Guitar, bass, 5-string, 7-string and 7-string with bass, combinable in the tab editor.

Mouse control in a command window: Menus and controls respond to clicks, so there are no commands to type.

One-handed entry: Notes can be entered from the keyboard or the mouse when only one hand is free.

Unzip and run: The archive holds a single executable that runs from any directory, with no installer.
