Description
Your files are locked by Crypt888 ransomware, they will not open, and the screen keeps asking for payment. Hold off on the transfer: Avast turned its decryptor for it into a free small program, and one wizard from start to finish tries to restore the encrypted files.
This package uses Avast's All-In-One decryption wizard, which opens on a ransomware detection page: you can name the ransomware that encrypted your data yourself, click Next, and it lists the decryptors it supports. It is under 3 MB, needs no installation, and just runs. Before decrypting, copy the encrypted files somewhere as a safety net in case something goes wrong halfway.
Wizard-style flow:Steps you through the process, with no command line or cryptography knowledge needed.
Pick the family yourself:Name the ransomware that encrypted your data, then see the list of supported decryptors.
Free and portable:Free from Avast, and a single program to run.
From a security vendor:Published by Avast, straight from its ransomware decryption tools page.
