Description
With seven or eight Claude Code and Codex sessions running across projects, you end up cycling through terminal windows to see who is working, who is stuck waiting for your answer and who has finished. agent-manager pulls them into one tmux TUI: a project tree on the left with a live status list shows at a glance which agent is running, waiting or done.
Each agent lives in its own persistent tmux session, so closing the interface does not kill it. Press space to send a quick prompt to any agent, f to fork a conversation and try another path, or ctrl+r for a full-file diff where you can leave comments and send them back to the agent. Beyond Claude Code and Codex it supports OpenCode, Grok, Gemini CLI and a dozen more. Written in Go, Apache-2.0, on macOS and Linux, with Windows through WSL2.
Live status list:Every agent in the project tree is marked as working, waiting, finished or dead.
Persistent sessions:One tmux session per agent, so detaching the UI does not stop it, and dead ones can be revived.
Quick prompt:Press space to message an agent without switching to it.
Fork conversations:Press f to clone a conversation into a new agent and try two ideas in parallel.
Worktrees:A separate am/ branch worktree per agent so changes never collide.
Diff review:ctrl+r opens a full-file diff where comments go straight back to the agent.
Nested agents:Agents can spawn other agents, and T opens a shell under any of them.
Mouse and themes:Drag to reorder, plus several built-in themes.
