Description
Terminals keep getting heavier with built-in browsers and SSH workspaces, yet all day you just run Claude Code and Codex in them. lmux is a native Swift macOS terminal on libghostty: a 25 MB app that idles near 0% CPU with one workspace or twenty, with no Electron.
After quitting, updating or rebooting, workspaces, splits and every Claude Code or Codex session come back as they were. Needs macOS 14+ on Apple silicon, MIT licensed, installable with Homebrew.
Know who needs you: Status comes from Claude Code's hooks and Codex itself: running, needs you, done or failed, with a ring on the pane and ⇧⌘J to jump to the one waiting.
Take back a prompt: Press × on the turn and Claude rewinds to before it; ✎ hands the prompt back to fix and resend.
Import cmux setup: One click brings over theme, fonts, shortcuts and open workspaces and splits.
CJK input: Korean without dropped syllables, and Chinese and Japanese input got the same treatment.
Also: Tabs in every pane, 26 themes and copy-as-markdown.
