Description

A two-year-old Windows install boots slower than it did new: preinstalled apps you never asked for, startup entries, telemetry services, a filling C drive and dropping frame rates. The "optimizer" tools online are mostly stuffed with ads or bundled junk, and the genuinely clean ones are hard to find.

RyTuneX is an open-source Windows optimizer built with Microsoft's own WinUI 3, so it blends into the Windows 11 look rather than clashing with it. The home page is a full system overview — CPU, memory, disk, GPU and network usage plus counts of installed apps, processes and services — showing the machine's state at a glance. A sidebar splits the work into Optimize, Debloat, Repair, Privacy, Networking and Security.

The most useful parts are debloat and privacy: it lists the unwanted built-in UWP apps, Copilot, widgets, telemetry and ad recommendations so you tick off what to remove, and gathers the switches that quietly phone data home into one page instead of the registry. Every change is a toggle you can see and undo — not a black-box "one-click optimize". The maintainer's own benchmarks show measurable gains in game frame rate and latency.

AGPL licensed, for Windows 10 and 11. The recommended install is from the Microsoft Store, with automatic updates and a verifiable source.
