Description
You swap in a new graphics card, or move from NVIDIA to AMD, install the new driver — and get artifacts, frame drops and bluescreens. Nine times out of ten the old driver was never fully removed, and leftover registry keys, inf packages and services are fighting the new one. The Control Panel uninstaller does not reach any of that. DDU does: it pulls out everything the previous vendor left behind, returning the system to a state as if no driver had ever been installed, so the next install starts clean.
