ASuite

ASuite

Portable App Launcher

Description

ASuite is an install-free application launcher for Windows. It keeps the programs, files, folders and web links you actually use in a tree you arrange yourself, so you stop digging through the desktop or the Start menu to find them.

The whole thing is one executable plus a list file, so you can drop the folder on a USB stick and carry it to another machine. Entries are stored as relative paths, which means the drive letter changing from E to G does not break every shortcut — that is the practical difference from the ways Windows itself launches things.

Features

Grouping: Entries go into folders and any order you like, so the list matches how you work rather than how the installers happened to lay things out.

Tray menu: ASuite sits in the system tray, and one click on the icon pops the whole list open without bringing up the main window first.

Hotkeys: Individual entries can be bound to a key combination that launches them directly.

Bulk scan: Point it at a directory and it sweeps up the executables and shortcuts inside in one pass, reading program names straight out of the .exe files.

Scheduler: A simple built-in scheduler can run a given entry at a time you set.

List import and export: Save the list you have built and load it back after a reinstall or on another machine.
