Description
Your videos come as mkv, flv and wmv, and every player seems to choke on one of them, while installing codec packs gets old fast. AVS Media Player aims to be format-agnostic, with video, audio and pictures in one window.
It is a clean all-round media player whose main window keeps only the essential controls. It handles mp4, mpeg, avi, mov, flv, mkv, wmv and more, and can show images too.
Many formats:Plays mainstream video and audio formats without extra codec packs.
Image viewing:Browse pictures in the same player, slideshow style.
Simple interface:Only basic playback controls in the main window, so there is nothing to learn.
Playlists:Drag files in to queue them up.
Licensing:Free to use from AVS4YOU, with an installer of about 155 MB.
