Lose a USB stick once and you learn the lesson: whoever picks it up can open the contracts and account sheets inside. Cryptainer LE builds an encrypted vault on your disk instead. Once loaded it shows up in Explorer as an ordinary drive letter, and when you exit the program the drive disappears, so nobody can even see what is in there without the password.
There is nothing to learn. Drag files into the drive, copy, paste, edit and save as usual, and the encryption happens in the background. It is the free edition from Cypherix and it never expires, with no nag screens pushing you to pay. A single vault holds up to 100 MB, enough for a batch of ID scans and a password list.
