Let Your AI Agent Call You

Description

You leave an agent running a migration overnight and it stalls halfway, waiting for a decision while you sleep. agentring lets the agent call your phone when it needs you: it rings like a real call even on a locked screen, a voice AI explains what is going on, you answer out loud, and the transcript goes back to the agent, which carries on.

It works the other way too: tap Call agent in the app and ask by voice what CI said or what is in your inbox. A missed call turns into a message you can answer from the notification. It runs on self-hosted VoIP, with no phone numbers, no Twilio and no per-minute fees. It is a pre-release tested on one Pixel 6 and Android only for now.

Features

Agent reaches you: send a message, wait for a reply or place a call, through MCP or the command line.

You reach your agent: mid-call the voice AI can consult your own agents; if one is slow the call goes on and the answer arrives as a message.

Works with many agents: Claude Code, Codex, opencode and anything that speaks MCP, plus REST for n8n and scripts.

Self-hosted: the relay and LiveKit call audio run on your own server, and a hosted version is also offered.

Open source: Apache-2.0, with the Android APK on GitHub Releases.
