Description
The built-in Windows volume flyout means clicking the tray, dragging a slider and doing it all again when the next video is too loud. Volume2 hands that job to the mouse wheel and global hotkeys: scroll over the taskbar or a screen edge to change the volume, or bind your own key combination, no window to open.
Every change gets visual feedback through a skinnable on-screen volume bar and customizable tray icons. If you juggle headphones, speakers and several sound cards, its device switcher and per-app sliders are far quicker than digging through system settings.
Taskbar wheel control: scroll over the taskbar or a screen edge to raise or lower the volume, middle-click to mute.
Global hotkeys: bind volume up, down and mute to your own combinations or to media keys.
Per-application volume: one slider for each app that is making sound, so a loud game and a quiet player can be balanced separately.
Output device switching: change the default output between headphones, speakers and virtual cards in one click.
Skinnable OSD: the on-screen bar, tray icon and level meter all have skins, and you can edit your own.
Volume limit: cap the maximum level so a sudden spike never blasts your ears.
