Description
The camera clock was wrong and your photo dates are a mess, daylight saving shifted a batch of files by an hour, or you want files to sort in a set order. Explorer has no entry for changing created, modified and accessed times. NewFileTime is a free portable tool of about 150 KB where you drag files or whole folders in and change all their timestamps at once.
You can make files proportionally younger or older, or set an exact date and time. Timestamps can be exported to Excel or Calc, edited and imported back, and there is an Explorer context menu. Unzip and run; a license screen appears once on first start.
Drag and drop batches: add files and folders together and change created, modified and accessed times in one go.
Proportional shifts: move a batch earlier or later, or set an exact date and time.
Daylight saving fixes: corrects summer and winter time offsets.
File name to timestamp: set times from dates in file names.
Excel and Calc: export the list, edit in a spreadsheet and import it back.
Context menu: change file times straight from Explorer.
