Description
You want Chrome's engine and extensions but not the habit of patching every gap with add-ons. Slimjet starts from Chromium and builds common features like a downloader and ad blocking right into the browser, keeping the familiar interface so you do not hunt for extensions.
Its downloader handles tasks reliably, and the options are not scattered everywhere, with a restrained menu structure. A portable build is also available, so you can carry your browser setup on a USB drive.
Chromium engine: Compatible with Chrome sites and extensions, with a familiar interface
Built-in downloader: Manage and speed up downloads without a plugin
Ad blocking: Blocking is built in for cleaner pages
Portable build: No installation, carry it with you
