Description
You want a glance at memory, CPU and network speed without a widget that eats half the screen. DerBar is a 250 KB exe, and double-clicking it gives you one thin status bar on the desktop.
It shows used and total memory, uptime, network receive and transmit rates and CPU load, and needs no installation, just unzip and run. Drag it anywhere and it remembers the spot next launch.
The few settings live in the tray icon. The author chose small and compatible over features, and it runs from XP through Windows 11.
Memory and CPU: Shows used memory, total memory and CPU usage.
Uptime: Shows how long the system has been running.
Network rates: Live receive and transmit speeds.
No install: Unzip and double-click; the position is remembered and options sit in the tray icon.
