Description
A tiny digital readout in the taskbar corner always feels like something is missing, and you may want a real clock with hands on the desktop without installing a widget platform that weighs tens of megabytes. TheAeroClock does just that: it puts an analog clock with a fully transparent background on the desktop, so the numbers and hands float right over your wallpaper, with no frame and no interference with the windows underneath.
Size and opacity are adjustable, the dial texture can be swapped for one you like, and you can open several clocks at once, each set to a different time zone, which is handy when you work across regions. It can start hidden, it is free and ad free, and the download is under 2 MB. For portable use, drop an ini file of the same name into the program folder and the settings stay in that folder instead of the system.
Transparent analog dial: the background is fully transparent, so only the numbers and hands show over the wallpaper
Size and opacity: both the dial size and overall opacity can be adjusted, from a small corner clock to one that fills part of the desktop
Custom dial textures: replace the dial and hand images with your own style
Multiple clocks and time zones: open several clocks at once and set a separate time zone for each
Start hidden: launch with the system but keep it out of sight until you bring it back
Portable mode: place a TheAeroClock.ini in the program folder and the configuration travels with the folder
Light and free: under 2 MB, no ads, no bundled extras, with 32 bit and 64 bit builds
