When you find a great video you want to keep for offline viewing, web based download sites are either packed with ads or cap you at low resolution, and subtitles or audio need yet another workaround. 4K Video Downloader Plus turns this into a desktop app: copy the video link, click Paste, and it saves to disk at the quality and format you picked, up to 4K and even 8K.
The top bar lists download type, quality, format and save location, so you set them once and start with one click. Besides single videos it can grab a whole playlist or channel, save subtitles together with the video, and export audio only as MP3 and similar formats. A built-in browser lets you sign in and download content that needs an account. Basic downloads are free while the premium tier is a paid license. The installer itself is tiny because it is an online installer that fetches the main package at run time.
