Description
A script quietly injected into your site, or a local file altered by a few bytes, rarely shows when you just look at the page. WebESC takes a plain approach: list the files and URLs you care about in an FLS file, scan again later, and whatever changed gets highlighted when the two lists are compared.
The list can hold local files or web links, and links copied to the clipboard can be scanned directly. When only size matters it can skip other attributes for a faster pass. The whole program is a few dozen KB and runs straight from the zip.
FLS lists: scan URLs or local web pages and record the documents in an FLS file, or write one by hand.
Change comparison: scan again and compare against the old list; modified entries are highlighted since changes can mean injected code.
Quick mode: compare only file size and skip other attributes for rough checks on many files.
Clipboard scan: check copied web links directly without building a list first.
